We are immensely pleased to be able to offer you the sublime Voronoi watch winder in our catalog.
It was created using the computational geometry of the Voronoi diagram and Delaunay triangulation. This watch winder symbolizes an inspiration - a visit to the Louvre in Abu Dhabi in 2018. This experience gave the artist a fascination for the incredible perforated dome, which seems inspired by the Arab mosaics found in architecture.
The structure of this watch winder is composed of 434 triangles. Each side is designed independently using the metal casting technique to create a tin alloy. Each side is then welded together, cleaned, and polished.
It is plated with 24-carat gold and protected by an invisible layer of transparent varnish. It rests on 4 silicone feet. This piece is entirely handmade and made from original Adatte Design sketches.
